We often think of grief and joy as opposites—as if one must leave for the other to enter. But life is rarely that simple. Grief does not erase joy, and joy does not mean the absence of sorrow. They walk together, intertwined in the journey of love and loss.

I have seen people weep over the memory of a loved one, only to break into laughter at a story that captures their essence. I have witnessed joy flicker in the midst of pain, reminding us that love does not end when someone is gone. Jesus Himself wept even as He carried the hope of resurrection. He showed us that grief and joy are not enemies—they are part of the same sacred story.

You do not have to choose between them. You can hold both. And in that, you will find the depth of life itself.

In a world drowning in deception, where opinions overshadow truth and confusion reigns, the voice of wisdom is still calling. Proverbs 8 reminds us that wisdom is not hidden—she cries out in the streets, at the crossroads, and in the places where decisions are made. But are we listening?

Why do we cling to the chains that bind us, even when the Light that can set us free is right in front of us? Darkness deceives us with its false sense of comfort, but it only leads to more brokenness. The good news is that Jesus, the Light of the world, calls us out of darkness and into freedom.
